Week 4: Creating Valuable Content · Lesson 5 of 7

Focus: Using content as a growth driver for your business.

Welcome to Week 4 of the Full-Stack Business Builder Accelerator where we turn average business builders into full stack business builders, enabled, equipped, and empowered to build their dreams.

This week, we’re focusing on something that can massively impact your business: creating valuable content. And, since you read the free book Gravity by Peter Saddington, you already know all about why this is the logical next step in your journey.

Content is more than just marketing. It’s how you tell your story, build trust with your audience, and provide real value to the people you want to serve.

Remember this: Content isn’t about selling—it’s about solving problems and creating connections.”

To be quite clear, this is where I’ve seen 99% of business builders fall off the wagon. I’ve heard every excuse under the sun:

- I’m not good on video. I don’t do video. I can hire someone for that. I’m not good at explaining it. I just know what I know. I should just focus on the core business that I’m good at. And, my product or service is good enough it got me here, so it sells itself.

Ok, then why are you here? Need I remind you? There are people with inferior products and services that compete with yours. They are less intelligent, less sophisticated, and you frankly believe that they are ‘lucky’ to be as successful as they are. Ok. You mad bro? Remove your ego from the equation. Since you read the book Gravity, you already know the future is mobile, video, and remote work. We’re here to win. We’re here to improve YOU so your business improves. Your business success is a function of how much you’re willing to improve as a business builder. It’s time to take a broader responsibility around your entire business. If you have employees currently, I promise you they’ll be galvanized by your efforts. They’ll see that you’ve moved to a higher gear. They’ll see that you’re working extra hard to survive the business and improving the business. They’ll work harder because you are leading the model.

Are you a solopreneur? Entreprocurious? Perfect. You have no audience, you must begin to build yours. Let’s talk about how easy it is to begin.

Let’s talk about why content matters.

Your content is the bridge between you and your audience. It’s how people learn who you are, what you stand for, and how you can help them. How will they know about you or your product or service if you’re not willing to tell them about it?

Here’s the good news: You don’t need to be everywhere or create everything. You just need to focus on two things:

  1. Consistency: Show up regularly.
  2. Relevance: Create content that solves real problems for your audience.

Start by answering this question:

  • What are the biggest challenges your audience faces?

Your job is to create content that helps them overcome those challenges—whether it’s a blog post, video, podcast, or social media post.

This week, your homework is to:

  1. Create ONE piece of video content.

    • It could be an introduction video, a hello I’m here video, or even a ‘I’m trying this, be gracious to me!’ We will be.
    • Focus on solving one specific problem for your audience.

Remember: Start small. Your first piece doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be helpful.

Best tip ever. “Document, don’t create.” One of my best video tips for the entreprocurious or soloprenuer is to make a video simply discussing their intentions to improve their business and why. Some startup founders simply start with: “Hello, my name is Peter and I’m learning how to communicate my project idea better. Let me tell you about it…”

“Creating content” takes brain space. It takes time, and it preys on your greatest weakness for some of you: Analysis paralysis and overthinking. You don’t become better at riding a bike by reading books about riding a bike. You must get on, learn by doing, and get feedback.

Creating content isn’t just a business tactic—it’s a way to serve your audience and build lasting relationships.

Take the first step this week, and watch how your content starts to create momentum.

I can’t wait to see your first introduction video in the Accelerator community!
